Dearest Gentle Reader, welcome to March. When I’ve not been basking in this delightful (read: incredibly alarming) warm weather, I’ve been deep in the newest season of Bridgerton — corset-tight tension, longing glances, and orchestral covers of pop songs.
While I bring no tantalizing gossip from the ton, I do come bearing news: the best worst movie is galloping into Golden at month’s end, tomorrow’s full moon (the delightfully named “Worm Moon”) will be rising, and Sunday ushers in Daylight Saving Time. It’s soon time to spring your clocks forward and to plan for Spring. Garden in a Box kits drops March 11, and after this “winter,” you’re going to want more low-water plants like these.
Let’s get to it! 🪿

🎥 The Room & Current Entertainment
There are bad movies… and then there is The Room, a film so spectacularly terrible it transcends criticism and becomes a cult classic. I once owned the DVD and have seen it five times, which is four more times than I’ve willingly rewatched almost any other movie.
This cinematic “trash masterpiece” (see below) is gracing Golden on March 21 at Gnarly’s. If you’re unfamiliar with The Room, allow me to introduce you to the chaos with a few sparkling reviews below.

More importantly, remember to check out the Comfort and Comedy Festival’s second (and LAST) week’s lineup this week! Plays, comedy, workshops, magic, burlesque, and more.
