Good Morning, Golden! Pardon this silly goose’s absence last week…unexpectedly extended a camping trip and forgot to schedule this publication. But…distance makes the heart grow fonder, right?!

🐟️ Free Fishing Weekend in Colorado - No fishing license is required during this weekend’s statewide event (Sat & Sun).
📣 Golden Hell Week 2025 Announced - Mark your calendars because this year Golden’s annual week of trail runs is September 22-26!
⛰️ Mini Day Camp for Neurodivergent Kids & Tweens (ages 7-12) - Venture Speech and Neuro-Exceptional Together are teaming up to offer a nature summer camp for neurodivergent and 2E students in Golden. Two options in July offered.
🖥️ Free Week of Coworking at Connects Next Week (6/9-6/13) - To celebrate Connects Workspace’s 10 Year Anniversary, they’re offering a free week of coworking. “All you have to do is show up.”
📣 Submit A Service Project for Mine’s Students - Mines’ incoming first year students participate in service projects in the local community on August 23 from 12-4pm, and Mines is looking for organizations that want to host volunteers. Fill out the form in the link by 6/30 to submit your project.
📚️ Books & Benders Book Club - Cannonball Creek Brewing’s monthly book club is reading Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir this month. Start reading the book and join for a great discussion on Tuesday, June 24th.

Yep, leagues…plural. Golden loves its cornhole! Both start THIS Wednesday and are sure to be a fun time! So sign up as spots are limited.
➡️ Sign up for the 2025 Golden Cornhole League - 12 weeks of cornhole on Wednesday evenings at Lions Park. $45 per team.
➡️ Sign up for Barrels & Bottles Cornhole - Open to 24 (2 person) teams, with live music, food specials, and two free drink tickets for each team.
