Good morning, Golden! 🎃 Trick or treat — this issue’s short and sweet! There’s no shortage of spooky fun around town this week, and if you’ve still got energy after all the candy, don’t forget to rake up those last few leaves for Golden’s final Fall Yard Waste Collection of the year.

Get Your Christmas Tree Permit - Hoping to cut down your own tree this holiday season? Be sure to register for a location and day with a $20 permit.

Reminders:

Yard Waste Collection Nov 3-7 - Branches, leaves, and grass that won’t fit int your compost cart can be placed near where your trash is collected by 8am on your regular service day. This collection happens twice a year (Spring & Fall) and is for residents who participate in the Pay-As-You-Throw waste collection program. (Page 17)

Golden Business Summit on Nov 5th - The Golden Chamber of Commerce is holding their 3rd Annual Golden Business Summit on November 5th at Mount Vernon Canyon Club, and tickets are on sale now.

  • 🥃 Frank August Whiskey Dinner at Abejas (10/29 @ 6pm) - “Four Course Dinner paired with a selection of Small Batch Whiskey from Frank August and Pacific Edge Wine & Spirits. Dining will be communal style as guests will be seated together. Menu will be posted to our social media pages.”

  • ⚡️ Harry Potter Trivia Night at The Golden Mill (10/29 @ 6:30pm) - “Calling all witches, wizards, and Muggles! Test your knowledge of the wizarding world at our Harry Potter trivia night.”
