Good morning, Golden! I’m sure all the parents out there are saying “summer is over” with kiddos back in school, but I’d like to remind you that technically Summer ends on September 21st.
So until then, I’m going to continue to celebrate summer until the very. last. day. You can rip summer out of my cold, dead hands. 💀
Did I take that too far?
What I meeeean to say is: the weather is fantastic and the activities around town are still BUMPIN’. 🎉
The Shiny Sphere Search starts tomorrow and carries us through the month, and there’s still plenty to squeeze out of the season: the final Baby Goat Nights at New Terrain, the final Golden Bike Cruise (zombie-themed), and Golden’s new Golden Hour Mashup—a fun family night around town if you haven’t checked it out yet.

📣 Courageous Colorado is coming to Golden
Courageous Colorado reached out asking that I share the following information about their nonprofit and activation tour. As a strong advocate for civic engagement and community, I was more than happy to. Check them out & join the conversation on Sept 23rd!
This September, Courageous Colorado is bringing its Denver Metro Activation Tour to communities across the metro area, including a stop right here in Golden. The tour is bringing together residents, local leaders, and community organizations for conversations about how we can strengthen civic participation, expand representation, and build trust in our democracy.
The event is free and open to the community. We hope you’ll join us and add your voice to the conversation!
Courageous Colorado is a cross-partisan statewide nonprofit working to strengthen democracy by bringing people together around practical solutions that increase participation, expand representation, and build trust. We believe some of the best ideas for strengthening and opening up democracy start in our local communities.
