9/8 - GCB Community Meeting, Fall Stuff, & Once-a-Year Recycling

Good Morning, Golden! Anyone see the full moon or total lunar eclipse last night? Was supposed to have created a “dramatic blood moon.” Queue the Fall feels.

This weekend is your once-a-year opportunity to recycle a few hard to recycle items—electronics, metal, etc. And if you’re curious about the future of GCB, come join us for a conversation about investing in its continued legacy. Let’s get to it!

In today’s issue:

🍺 GCB Community Meeting

As you may know, Golden City Brewery is up for sale along with the home. GCB has been a gathering space for many since 1993, when it became Golden’s second brewery and was way ahead of the microbrew scene. As part of the fabric of Golden, I’ve teamed up with a few people who are interested in exploring options to preserve the space.

That’s where you come in! If you’re interested in joining our discussion on how we can preserve GCB as a local hub, please join us on Wednesday, September 17 to help us ideate and co-create its future.

(If you know anyone who might be interested, please forward them this email!)
