7/7 - Full Moon, Frisbee Fun, and a Bike Birthday Party

Good Morning, Golden! The mosquitos are biting, the heat is rising, and the skies are down pouring sweet (if temporary) relief—but the summer fun marches on. So slather on the bug spray, grab that umbrella like it’s your plus-one, and get ready—because this week brings a full moon on Thursday (the buck moon 🦌) , a bike birthday bash, and a movie & music in Parfet Park this Friday night. Rain or shine, we party on! 🤘

UPCOMING EVENTS:

🥏 Around Golden: Pro Ultimate Frisbee Team

Not into football? Baseball more of a summer vibe than a regular watch? Does golf lull you into an involuntary nap? Same. 🙋‍♀️ But even if you’re thinking, “Get outta here, Goose. I love sportsball,” then you too will find the following worth your while.

May I introduce the only professional sports team that plays in Golden at Mine’s Stadium? I’m talking about The Colorado Summit. It’s Ultimate Frisbee—but nothing like how your college roommate played it. These guys are pros, after all. They throw with the precision of a NASA launch and the flair of a halftime show. And what fun it is to watch live! They even have a spirit captain… though I’m still not sure if it was a player’s title or just the woman with the hula hoops on the sideline. Either way, she and the team definitely brought the spirit. 🙌

Your last chance to catch them at home this season is Friday, July 18 against Seattle. Grab your tickets and settle in for one of the most unexpectedly thrilling sports you’ll see all summer! Get your tickets ➡️ here.

Game against Salt Lake City on the Fourth of July

THANKS!

Thanks for reading The Golden Goose today. If you found something interesting, I’d love it if you shared it with a friend, frisbee enthusiast, or second cousin twice removed…but only if twice removed.
