Good morning, Golden! I need you to give yourself a pat on the back today. Within 24 hours of last week’s newsletter, I watched the response count for the city’s Ford Street survey quadruple. And since I asked this flock to spread the word, a whole lot of new readers have waddled in.
You all SHOW UP. For Golden, for your neighbors, and for this silly goose newsletter I send out every week. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. 💛
Okay, now a serious question… Do you know where these words originated?
“Double, double, toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble!”
Did you also guess Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s 1993 made-for-TV Halloween movie Double, Double, Toil and Trouble…or was your education remarkably better than mine? 😆
For those of you who guessed the Olsen twins, I’ll see you at Golden High School’s production of Macbeth this week. 🎭 Apparently, we have some more learning to do. (See more below.)

MUST WATCH
Macbeth at GHS 🎭
What do Don Cheadle, Jessica Biel, and Tim Allen all have in common, besides being talented actors?
They all are from Colorado. And if I had to guess, at least one of them probably starred in a high school play. (Unlike me, whose acting career peaked as a tree in a 5th-grade production.)
Who knows? You could be watching the next big Hollywood star at Golden High School’s production of Macbeth this week. And for those of us whose Shakespeare education came courtesy of the Olsen twins, we have three chances to redeem ourselves.

A. 6,000 sq ft
B. 9,000 sq ft
C. 15,000 sq ft
D. 25,000 sq ft
