Good morning, Golden! Take out your gardening shears because next week is extra yard waste pickup, and it only happens twice a year (spring & fall). Stuff your compostable bags and bundle your branches (sans string or twine) and place them near your trash on your designated trash collection day.

Then to celebrate all of your hard work, grab a Colorado Pint Day glass 🍺 at one of Golden’s breweries this Wednesday. From the pint glass artist: “Since we are celebrating both the US’s 250th and Colorado’s 150th birthdays, the theme I felt compelled to do was a birthday party…a prehistoric, campy, hoppy, Colorado birthday party.”

Lastly, take note of a couple upcoming community meetings and some great opportunities to hear live music with Mines’ orchestra and Golden Concert Choir. 🎵
