Good morning, Golden! Start your weekend early with a tropical drink (or two) on Thursday at the Golden Civic Foundation’s Neighborhood Luau. You’re going to need it, because this weekend you are legally obligated to laugh at every dad joke within city limits. And since Father’s Day falls on the Summer Solstice, we’re looking at maximum daylight for maximum dad-joke potential. I’m mentally preparing myself now. (Me doing reps of fake laughing → 😆)
We’ve also got ARTSWEEK Golden filling Parfet Park this weekend, a chance to party like it’s 1999 at The Eddy, and Bike to Work Day next Wednesday for anyone ready to risk helmet hair for the promise of free breakfast. For what it’s worth, “just rolled out of bed” hair is trending right now…which I guess makes me a fashionista. 😎
