Good morning, Golden! I missed the Northern Lights last week while in Canada-land, but I’m sure not missing Golden’s holiday lights! And neither will you because this goose has been packing the calendar full of more Golden holiday magic than even the most organized elf can spreadsheet. ✨

Holiday Events to Get Excited About

Wreath Workshop (11/18 @ 5:30pm) - “Learn about JeffCo forestry while creating a festive decoration to take home! Refreshments & snacks provided.”

Holiday Cookie Decorating at The Rec Center (12/4 @ 4pm) - “Bring your creativity (and your sweet tooth) as we decorate delicious cookies with frosting, sprinkles, and cheer. All supplies are provided.”

Ugly Sweater Decorating at Foothills Art Center (12/4 @ 5-7:30pm) - “Ugly sweater decorating is BACK! Bring your plain old sweater to the Creative Campus and turn it into the ugliest, most glorious holiday creation ever. We’ll have free supplies, drinks, and all the glitter you can handle. Space is limited, RSVP to join the fun! 21+ event!”

7th Annual Holiday Market at Mountain Toad (12/7 @ 12-5pm) - “Shop a variety of bespoke gifts from handmade wooden toys to vintage jewelry to textile art to handcrafted body products and more while enjoying a favorite Mountain Toad craft brew.”

Holiday Market at New Terrain Brewing (12/7 @ 11am-5pm) - “Come by and enjoy local handmade goods, jewelry, apparel, local art, home decor, bodyworks, and more. Ugly sweater contest, too!”

Miracle at The Eddy (Holiday Popup Bar) - Reservations are now open, with doors officially opening 11/25 at 4 PM. Get ready to sip from the new Miracle Mouse Mug and bask in the holiday magic, Golden-style. Because a little wonder pairs perfectly with good cheer. 🥃🐭

Golden’s Candlelight Walk 2025 (12/5 @ 6pm) - Enjoy carols, community, and holiday lights during this annual tradition.

2025 Gingerbread House Workshop at Foothills Art Center (12/6 @ 10am-12pm) - “We’ll use sturdy cardboard houses and decorate them with candy, paint, hot glue, and all kinds of fun craft supplies. Come make a colorful creation that’s good enough to ‘eat’!”

Spinphony Electric String Quartet at The Rose (12/21 @ 6pm) - “Instrumental crossover string group “Spinphony” is breaking down barriers between classical, rock, and pop music.”

Share your feedback on Police & Municipal Building Art - “The City of Golden invites residents and community members to share their feedback on the two proposed public art pieces for the new Police and Municipal Building.” Public feedback is open from November 13–27, 2025.

Applications Open for The Community Engagement Group - Golden Police are looking for new members to join this informal advisory team. Members meet directly with the Chief and staff to share ideas and discuss community needs.
